How a Powerful Brand Helps Muffin Break Keep Growing
Over the last 30 years, Muffin Break has become an iconic, much-loved Australian brand, synonymous with freshly-baked goodness and award-winning coffee. Our powerful brand has helped build a network of 210 stores around Australia.
Attention to detail and high-quality ingredients are an essential part of that growth. As is the training and support which we offer to all of our franchisees.
Part of maintaining strong brand recognition is clearly communicating it, in a creative way. Throughout February, we’ve been reaching out to both our current and new franchising audience with a video which underscores the support that we offer, and how we help franchisees ‘build a life they love.’
We asked Natalie Brennan, General Manager of Muffin Break, a few questions about how Muffin Break’s brand stays strong.
Firstly, what defines the Muffin Break brand?
Quality, support, a sense of community – and trust. Muffin Break is a trusted brand that has proved itself again and again over three decades. Our loyal customers know they can get an excellent cup of coffee at Muffin Break, along with a freshly baked muffin, served with a smile. In a nutshell, we always deliver “good food, good coffee and good times!
Why is it beneficial to buy into an established brand franchise?
The level of support, for one thing. We’re known throughout the franchising world for our award-winning, intensive training programs, which ensure that all our franchisees and their employees have the edge in a competitive marketplace.
It doesn’t stop there. Our brand perception is so strong because we offer business mentorship, creative national campaigns, freshly-baked products that customers love and other useful tools for running a business.
After 30 years in the business, how do you keep the brand fresh?
Innovation is the key to success…but we also understand that customers love the classics that we offer. So while you’ll always find your favourites at Muffin Break, we’re continually adding new menu items to reflect changing tastes. We’re also aware that to stand out in today’s market, you need to have a comprehensive digital strategy. Our marketing campaigns span traditional and new media to keep us top of our audience’s mind.
The Muffin Break Community Unites for the Bushfires
A key part of Muffin Break’s identity is community. With the devastating Australian summer of bushfires impacting communities around the country, the franchise has given back at both a national and local level.
Nationally, over $65,000 has been donated by Muffin Break to leading wildlife charity WIRES. $1 of every Lamington Muffin sold in January went towards the cause, which was then matched by our parent company Foodco and 50c matched by brand partner Darrell Lea.
Locally, Muffin Break stores from Bendigo to Cairns have raised funds via their own inspiring initiatives for charities such as the Country Fire Association and the Salvation Army Bushfires appeal.
At Muffin Break, we believe a little good goes a long way. Find out more today about becoming part of the community and a brand that’s been growing for over 30 years.
